Global cosmetic brand L’Oréal Paris needed to manage an ever-growing stockpile of media files that required lengthy upload, resizing, reformatting, and expensive storage costs. SOLUTION
Brainsonic created an asset management solution based on Microsoft Azure Media Services to upload, encode, and distribute content. The solution was created with both Linux-based and Windows-based media management components on virtual servers in an Azure Infrastructure-as-a-Service environment. The solution also utilizes Azure offerings such as Azure SQL Database, Managed Cache, and Azure Storage. Azure services are used to store files in the cloud, instead of investing in costly storage systems.
