Concrete Noun: Name things that can be seen, felt, heard, touched, or smelled. Abstract Noun: Name concepts, beliefs, or qualities. Count Nouns: Nouns that can be…counted! Non-count Nouns: Cannot be counted. Singular. Important?: Yes! Subject (noun) and verb agreement can be tricky. Knowing whether or not your subject is singular is step one.
