OBJECTIVES… STudents will
Work collaboratively! Practice research & presentation skills Clearly teach their peers their topic Use a variety of skills and resources throughout project

project guidelines 2-3 students per group
minutes presentation time (depends on topic) Each group needs to present and also prepare a one page handout that summarizes their key points. This must be ed to Ms. Pasichnyk for copying. Prepare & submit a, “Works Consulted” page for all sources used i.e. textbook, internet, etc.

the 3 components of the assessment: total=40 marks
Presentation=20 marks Typed, summary handout=10 marks Peer Evaluation=10 marks (You will evaluate your partner or one of your group- mates).

tips & timeline info: 4 days of preparation time
Would like to start presentations, in # order: Friday Dec. 5th Remember the cliches: “Less is more” & “A Picture is worth a 1000 words.” Plan, be organized, divide work fairly, plan, re-evaluate; repeat cycle!
