5 Team Philosophy Team/program philosophy Have Fun Be a good teammate
Learn the fundamentals of basketball Prepare athletes to be successful at the High School level Players can expect to play in at least one contest each week.

6 Policies & Rules Practice Attendance
Players are expected to be at all practices Players who miss practice due to an excused absence will be held out 1 qtr. of the next game Players who miss practice due to an un-excused absence may miss the next game. A player may be removed from the team after 3 unexcused absences. Academics & Behavior Players are students first. Poor grades and/or behavior will have a direct impact on playing time. 7 Athlete Transportation
Practice Pick-up Practice will end at 4:30 pm Please arrange transportation home for your child. If consistently late, athlete will be removed from team Game Pick-up Players will be bussed to away games Parents must arrange for transportation home

8 General Information and Team Policies
Injuries – Let coaches know immediately after you suffer ANY kind of injury Head Injuries –Athletes who show signs of having a concussion will not be allowed to return to play. Some examples of signs & symptoms reported by athletes: Headache Nausea Dizziness Double vision or dizziness Sensitivity to light or noise Feeling sluggish Feeling foggy or groggy Concentration or memory problems Confusion

10 Parent/Coach Conduct It is important for coaches and parents to model appropriate behavior for these young athletes. Mistakes may be made by each of these groups. We should treat these as learning opportunities. Let the Referees ref Let the Players play Let the Coaches coach Let the Parents CHEER

13 Gear All players will be issued BRAND NEW GEAR.
All lost or damaged gear will be subject to a replacement fee.
