In 2010 just carols, prayer and Town Crier around a Christmas Tree! Then event run solely by Town Council staff – event in High Street Community Events Working Party – event has grown Administered by Town Council – insurance, R.A.’s, expertise etc

Formed at the suggestion of residents - made up of Local organisations and groups The business sector Residents Bridgnorth Town Councillors Shropshire Councillors Volunteers

13 Aims To provide an event for Bridgnorth of local and countywide interest To promote footfall and boost local tourism and the local economy To promote partnership working To promote market activities, the High Street and local arts and crafts To celebrate local food and drink To provide a family evening of entertainment To welcome and celebrate Christmas

To offer opportunities for businesses to promote themselves + sponsorship To offer the opportunity for community groups and organisations to promote themselves and raise much needed funds To work with and promote all sectors, needs and ages within the community
