Provide an Orientation/Discussion Session on the Following Topics:
Research proposal format and requirements
ALDOT’s research funding source information
Research proposal approval/disapproval process from beginning to end
ALDOT’s General Agreement with universities/partners
Discuss ALDOT’s organizational structure

3. Discuss Research Program Peer Exchange Results
Accomplishments of research program and universities/partners
Opportunities for research program improvements

4. Discussion of ALDOT’s Research Needs
Challenging areas for ALDOT
Specifications/Policies changes
History of past performed research
Possible future RFP submissions

5. Researchers’ Area of Expertise
Allow researchers to discuss their expertise and past performed research
Provide researchers with a POC within ALDOT who work within their Area
Discuss a tentative time for researchers to visit ALDOT and meet with the POC
