2. God hates sins

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and wickedness of men who by their wickedness suppress the truth. Rom 1:18 RSV
Since they thought it foolish to acknowledge God, he abandoned them to their foolish thinking and let them do things that should never be done. Romans 1:28
Their lives became full of every kind of wickedness, sin, greed, hate, envy, murder, quarreling, deception, malicious behavior, and gossip.  They are backstabbers, haters of God, insolent, proud, and boastful. They invent new ways of sinning, and they disobey their parents. They refuse to understand, break their promises, are heartless, and have no mercy. Romans 1:29-31

3. wE ALL HAVE SINNED AGAINST GOD

for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God romans 3:23
No one is righteous, not even one. 3:10
no one is seeking God
All have turned away
No one does good, not a single one.
They don’t know where to find peace.
They have no fear of God at all.

We condemned the sinner
you say they are wicked
They should be punished
We see ourselves as followers of God
You who call yourselves Jews are relying on God’s law v 17
you boast about your special relationship with him. V 17
You are convinced that you are a guide for the blind 
You are the light for people who are lost in darkness
You think you can instruct the ignorant and teach children the ways of God
For you are certain that God’s law gives you complete knowledge and truth.
You are so proud of knowing the law, but you dishonor God by breaking it. 
The Gentiles blaspheme the name of God because of you

God shows compassion
Don’t you see how wonderfully kind…
tolerant
patient
Can’t you see that his kindness is intended to turn you from your sin?
“Let him who is without sin among you be the first to throw a stone at her.”  And once more he bent down and wrote with his finger on the ground.  John 8:3-11
Has no one condemned you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “Neither do I condemn you; go, and do not sin again.”
“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” 2 Peter 3:9
Now when Jesus approached and saw the city, he wept over it, saying, “If you had only known on this day, even you, the things that make for peace! But now they are hidden from your eyes … Luke 19:41-44

GOD is Just and will judge us according to our works
maintaining love to thousands, and forgiving wickedness, rebellion and sin. Yet he does not leave the guilty unpunished. Exodus 34:7
Whoever believes in the Son has eternal life, but whoever rejects the Son will not see life, for God’s wrath remains on them. John 3:36
For those who believe in God
He will give eternal life to those who keep on doing good, 
seeking after the glory and honor and immortality that God offers.
For those who reject God
But he will pour out his anger and wrath on those who live for themselves, who refuse to obey the truth and instead live lives of wickedness.
There will be trouble and calamity for everyone who keeps on doing what is evil.
