4 Build 2014 11/18/2018 SolidWorks is one of the most recognized software tools for 3d modelling by serious engineers. This product is a required tool for commercial 3d printing and just about every engineering student leaves with some familiarity with it. Microsoft is working with SolidWorks to prepare their next release to understand 3MF and print natively using the 3d printing pipeline in Windows. Varage Privat, director of engineering at SolidWorks will be demoing this live at our 3d printing booth in the lobby and I encourage you to come by and see what we are up to. Microsoft has a long history working with Dassault mainly in the commercial space and I would expect to see more areas of collaboration in the future. © 2014 Microsoft Corporation.
