STEP 5: Enter Yearly Data
Make an entry in Yearly Data for every academic year. Access the yearly data link. On the yearly data page click on the copy icon for the latest yearly entry. This opens up the yearly data edit page. In the drop down menu, change the Academic Term/Year to the current year you are entering for. Make any other changes as appropriate e.g. Position, AQ/PQ status, FTE%, Supporting/Participating. Save the changes. This will return you to the yearly data main screen. Make sure a current term exists. Repeat for all academic years your have been teaching and make any edits as to any faculty leave you have taken. 11/18/2018

Note: You can now ensure that the name under which an individual contributed to a given activity is recorded and displayed on reports. Ex: If you published under a maiden name or an alternative name, you can now override this ensuring the correct name is reflected when the publication is cited in reports. 11/18/2018

STEP 8: Enter Intellectual Contributions
Note: Records in the activity database generally have date fields like academic year, start and end dates, and dates accepted or published. When reports are ran a date range is specified. Ex: All professional organizations, conference/workshops, certifications and research activity need both start and end dates or a date that it was awarded or published. 11/18/2018

DIGITAL MEASURES How to generate your Texas State Vita Step 1: From the drop down menu, select Texas State Vita and then Select Report. Step 2: Select the date range. Use 1925 as the start date and today’s date for the end date. This will pull everything ever entered up until the current date. Step 3: Select Microsoft Word Step 4: Select the Letter page size. Step 5: Select Build Report. 11/18/2018
