The Baltic Sea The Baltic Sea is a brackish sea with both salt and fresh water. It doesn`t have big tides, and the sea water is low in salinity.

Estonia is located on the eastern coast of the Baltic Sea with nearly 3,800 km of coastline and nearly 700 km of land border.

Estonian flag has blue colour on it.
One of the reasons why this colour was chosen is the following: blue sky above the native land or the reflection of the Baltic Sea.

In 2014, Estonia is the coordinator of Nordic - Baltic cooperation.

A lot of people go to the Estonian islands and have a rest in seaside resorts.
