Eighth Grade U.S. History

2. Presentation Format
Each group will be asked to present all four completed projects to the class in a 10-minute oral presentation. Two groups will be asked to present each day. Google Slide® may be used for video clips, “commercials”, or for images, but can not be one of the four projects.

3. Presentations (+/- 10 minutes)
3D Model: pass out 5-6 note cards to students in class and have each card read (discussing parts of model). Historical Fiction Story or Children’s Book: read excerpts from story or take turns reading entire children’s book. Board Game: film 2-minute “commercial” showing how to play the game, complete with signage. Video clip: 2 minute video clip of an interview with a Holocaust survivor, expert, or WWII veteran.

4. Presentations (+/- 10 minutes)
Splash Painting: take turns reading description and inspiration of painting Murals or Other Visuals: show brief examples (on Google Slide®) of actual famous murals of your topic (i.e. “Fear of the Children” mural; pictured right)
