This enables us to determine if we think the source is credible (trustworthy).
How can I know if it is credible?
You can’t. You can only make an educated guess. Does the source have a reason to be biased? If so, you might conclude that it is not as credible as others.
Will we all agree?
Probably not. Historians disagree a lot, but they all develop an understanding of events by analyzing sources. That is what we will practice today.
