Foundation Apprenticeships - DYW
What are they? -A one or two year courses giving you the opportunity to learn at school and College whilst also gaining valuable work experience with a local employer. -You will attend college 2 afternoons per week (Tuesday/Thursday) alongside an employer led work placement over holiday’s Why? - You will receive an industry recognised qualification at SCQF level 6 and will be ready for employment or further study Foundation Apprenticeships are available in the following areas:- Business Skills Financial Services Civil Engineering Engineering ICT Software Social Services and Health Care

Academies - DYW Why? - You will gain skills and valuable industry knowledge through work experience with industry experts. It can improve your chance of moving into further or Higher Education You will gain a qualification at SCQF level 6/7 Edinburgh College Engineering Computer games and Software development Edinburgh College in partnership with Queen Margaret University Creative industries Health and Social Care Hospitality and Tourism
