Progress Report on APMP. M
Progress Report on APMP.M.FF-K2 Hydrocarbon Flow (bilateral comparison) Chun-Min Su CMS/ITRI, Chinese Taipei Nov. 26, 2012, APMP 2012 TCFF Meeting Wellington, New Zealand
2
Introduction Pilot Laboratory: CMS/ Chinese Taipei
Participant laboratory: VMI/ Vietnam Overview of comparison Transfer standard: 4" PD meter (Kral) Test flowrates: (5 to 30) L/s, 11 flow points Original Cardinal point: Re= New comparison point: Re= Comparison parameter: Strouhal No. (temperature-compensated) Strouhal = K × D3 2018/11/18
3
Summary of the Comparison
CMS tested the TS with solvent 20 ℃ and 35 ℃ (Comparison 34.9 ℃) VMI tested the TS with 29.0 ℃ to ℃ (Comparison 29.3 ℃) NMIJ was invited to perform tests with kerosene and light 20 ℃ and 35 ℃ Comparison was made without viscosity correction The En value of VMI at Re= is 0.28 Operation condition of CMS is quite different from that in CCM-WGFF key comparison. No linkage to KCRV was provided. Slope of the regression line at 35 ℃ is positive but small, maybe due to measurement error. 2018/11/18
