Marrung VET Forums In 2017, VAEAI began initiating Marrung Vocational Education and Training (VET) Forums across the state, to discuss VET and higher education aspects of Marrung. In 2017, 15 VET Forums were held In 2018, 16 VET Forums are planned Examples of some key outcomes: Great networking opportunity for stakeholders; their work closely aligns and potential for future collaboration. Support for transition stages is critical, including from Year 10 to apprenticeships/ traineeships; from Year 11 into Year 12; and for students wanting to enrol in university. Availability of employment opportunities continues to be a barrier, despite the advice and assistance with resumes and interviews provided to young people.
