Dear readers, Is time of the good things and the bad things about what is happening this week. This week, there was no real bad news ( except for the fact that I have a ton of homework to do) everything was good. The good thing is that there is this beautiful musical play which occur on Friday and Saturday and that is called the Wizard of Oz. Even though this is a good event in the school there is the Valentine’s Dance that is even better. At the beginning I thought there was nothing happening in the school this but I was wrong when I heard about the musical and the Dance. Editor, Oscar Thielan

The Article Literacy events in February
Did you know this week is Nonfiction week? That means we get a special week about nonfiction. Also, we have some events. On Tuesday, we will make a poster with some interesting facts. Also, we have ‘Guest Reader’. We will interview someone to find facts. After that, we will have a big event. That’s musical, ‘The Wizard of Oz’. There are lots of students who are performing. It is on Friday, February 24th. And it starts at 7 o’clock, after school. We need to bring 800 tenge to watch it. (The middle school dance party takes place on Friday, February 24th, too.) After that, next week is Biography Week. We have Spelling Bee for 7,8,9 years old students on Monday. Also, we have Quote competition. Elementary students can go to the library and middle school students can go to the middle school building. Then on Wednesday, we can interview a classmate or a teacher and write a biography. Thursday, March 2 is Dr. Seuss’s birthday. So in Friday, March 3 we will dress up to look like Dr. Seuss’s character or our favorite author.
