During 79 AD Mt. Vesuvius erupted on Pompeii. Amazingly all the people turned to chalk. Thousands died during this sad tragedy . Now some of the chalk people are at the Museum of Modern Art.

3. The Race Track
In 1909 the Indianapolis speed way, now home of the famous motor racing competition, the Indianapolis 500.It started from an automobile industry, then into 328 acres of farmland five miles northwest of Indianapolis, Indiana. The meaning of this was to race pit cars around a track to see who would win.
