1 Transforming Communities in Nepal
Taalchowk Church Group in Kaski, Western Nepal has more than 200 members. After the Integral Mission seminar they identified that the women of the community have no work. They spend their days talking and roaming here and there due to unemployment. Most of the men in the community have jobs and some of them are in different countries. The women have to care for their children but when the children go to school, the women have no work. To reduce this problem, Taalchowk CG provided tailoring training for 4 women and they have been trained as trainers themselves. Out of four trainers, 2 are Christian and 2 are non-Christians and they will train mostly non-Christian community women. One of the trainers called Anju Subedi (who is non-Christian) said, “I never thought that Christian people would help us in this way. I thought that they only convert our religion. Now I am really happy that I have got training from the Christians and I am feeling their love. They are really good people.” According to the Elder of Taalchowk Church, the non-Christians are now interested in coming to the Church.

2 This photo shows women in a cloth making workshop in another Church Group, in Darshan.
Three more districts are planning to do the Integral Mission seminar in the next three months (Chitwan, Baglung and Salyan). Pray for these seminars and that as with Taalchowk Church Group, they will lead to much fruit as they offer help and support to their community.
