6. Example: deep or broad Depth of Field
Also known as deep focus
Landscape, architectural, large group portrait photography usually have a large depth of field.
Small aperture opening
This picture was taken with a shorter lens with a very small aperture (F-22)opening and also used a tripod.

7. Example: a narrow Depth of Field
Also known as shallow focus
Macro or close-up photography
Large aperture
Can also be accomplished by increasing focal length.
This picture was taken with a medium range lens with a very large aperture (F-1.8)
