5 Some Rounds will last only a few points, some as many as 10 or more points.

6 DON’T STOP UNTIL TIME IS CALLED
IMPORTANT: DON’T STOP UNTIL TIME IS CALLED

7 If you are tied when TIME is called, raise your hand and a Referee will come to help you play a Sudden Death point.

8 When a Round is over, wait in your chairs until the Announcer gives you instructions.

9 When everyone is ready, the announcer will tell you to follow the directions on your Player Station Card.

10 THIS IS A PLAYER STATION CARD
THIS IS A PLAYER STATION CARD. It gives you instructions for where to move next round depending on whether you win or lose.

11 Winning players move up and losing players move down
Winning players move up and losing players move down. Everyone plays again for next round.

12 Each player should have Player Scorecard and a pencil.

13 Be sure you have one now, and be sure to fill in your name and your class or school name right now.

14 Also, fill in the Player Station number you will play in round 1.

15 You will use your Player Scorecard to record what happens during each Round

16 At the end of each point: Winner makes a tally mark on his/her Player Scorecard.

17 At the end of the Round, circle on your Player Scorecard whether you Won, Lost, or were in the Middle.

18 Also, write onto your Player Scorecard, the Player Station number you will go to next.

19 After the final tournament round, add up all your WINS and write the number in the TOTAL WINS box.

20 At the end of each round when you move to a new Player Station…

21 TAKE LEAVE your Scorecard the pencil & dice.

22 Rules for playing a Math Dice point…

23 RULE 1 Once you call out a number, you must stick to that number until your opponent has found a closer number

24 If you do call out a second number that is closer to the Target, you can’t use it.

25 Worse than this… Your opponent can use it if they find an equation that works.

26 Players have 15 seconds to find a closer number than the one in play
Players have 15 seconds to find a closer number than the one in play. If they can’t do so, then bidding stops.

27 RULE 2 When a player wins a point, he/she must state the equation they used for their answer.

28 If player can’t come up with the equation used to win the point or states the wrong answer:
First time this happens, is a Do-Over Second time and beyond this, the Point is awarded to your Opponent

29 RULE 3 Call a Tie and Roll Again
If two players call out the same number at the same time, or call out two numbers equal distance from the Target Number at the same time… Call a Tie and Roll Again

30 If you have a question or need a ruling from your teacher:
Raise your hand to call for attention

31 Your referee has the last word on
EVERYTHING!
