National Drug Service Organization. Medical Depot for the Ministry of Health. Administratively Established in 1979 (Finance Act 1978) Legal Gazette in March 2007. Trading Account (financed through a mark up system). Autonomy to run tenders (in line with Public Procurement Regulations), hire people and finance its operations. what do these figures mean?
Lots of efforts have been made in terms of procurement related activities resulting with reasonable stock levels at Central Level. Unfortunately the good stock levels at Central level does not translate in to good access to Medicines at lower Health Centre level. This is due to current serious challenges regarding the in Country Pharmaceutical Logistics. Trips 14/08/2014
