Stone Age 250,000 B.C. – 3,000 B.C. A time for survival
Made tools out of natural materials like stone, wood, and bone. Most tools were used for agriculture and hunting Tools made it easier to survive.

Bronze Age 3000 B.C. – 1200 B.C. People learned to make bronze out of copper and tin. Made it easier to shape metal. Made Better weapons and tools Development of Ships, Chariots, and Glass

Iron Age 1200 B.C. – 500 A.D. People learned how to mine and use iron, which is harder than bronze. Improved tools Development of the plow, and irrigation Development of the Alphabet, Water wheel, Calendar, and the Great Wall of china.

Middle Age 500 A.D. – 1500 A.D. Brought about a number of technological developments that led to industrialization. Increased trade due to advancement in Agriculture. Development of paper money, Magnetic Compass, and printing press. Rockets and Gunpowder developed.
