Objectives Understand the functionalities of User Administration on the Global Industry Mall Edit/Update user profile and attributes Access and manage the company account if the user is a customer manager Modify the user profile capabilities Edit/Update user profile data through Self Service functionality

3 User Self Service User Self Service Access user profile data
Access to the System Profile Data/Address Person User profiles are updated via the User Self Service functionality Mouse over your name and click User Self Service. Click on Access to System Tab to change password. Click on Profile Data/Address Tab to change number & Date format, Scroll Mode, Language and notify, (Company Address is not editable) Scroll Mode - establishes the number of line items that can be added to the shopping cart. This functionality only applies to the shopping cart. Notifications - When any of the notifications are selected, you will receive notifications for all orders to the accounts in your profile. The number of notifications you receive will increase since the notifications apply to all orders and not just the orders you have created. Click on Person Tab to enter Last and First Name, Title, Phone numbers and . Fields marked with an asterisk are required fields Page 3 3

Search Conditions Add User Select Company User Details System Access Roles and Rights Search for User Modify User Details Accessing User Administration The Customer Mgr clicks on Users to perform Administration. User Administration Customer Manager sees a display of the Users Overview and the Search Conditions on the account Users Overview provides access to active and blocked users. Users tab allows customer manager to add users, delete users, and export user list (External Only-no Internal Siemens users will be seen). There’s two shortcuts: To Allow Order and Restrict View of Pricing. Unblock users tabs contain list of users that have been blocked (not really deleted) The search conditions functionality allows the administrator to access specific users If a user is deleted they become blocked not really deleted=Blocked. Delete is performed by enabling the check box by clicking delete. Add is performed by clicking add user. The “More” link allows a Export to Excel and Print. Add User Select Company Step 1-select companies (these are the SAP accounts that reside in the Customer Managers profile). User Details Step -2 Customer Manager enters their users data System Access Step 3-Customer Manager creates the Login & Password. Roles and Rights Step 4- The Customer Manager selects the Role and submits the profile/account to be created. The Role chosen will enable the checkbox for required functionality. Modify User The Customer Manager accesses the modification screen by clicking on the name of the user or performing search. The screen defaults the overview screen\User Details. Displayed are; Access to the System; Password Changes, Profile Data/Address, Person, Order Handling, Additional Accounts & Pricing Management (NA). Order Handling notifications for; Order Status & Delivery Additional Accounts-this is where multiple accounts are added to support “Switch To” functionality. Roles The Role chosen by the Customer Manager will drive the functionality check boxes within the Right Detail tab. Customer Managers should only be modifying Customer Pricing Notifications and enabling Pricing Manager within the Rights Detail tab. Page 4 4

Company Administration Functions Accessing the Company account Basic Settings Delivery Address Accessing the Company account For external customers only the Customer Manager will see the Companies and Users link. When the Customer Manager clicks on Companies the following tabs are displayed: Basic Settings Provides you with a mechanism for changing the company contact and sales representative. Delivery Address Users can add a new address, delete an address, and search saved Addresses. More arrow allows export to excel, filter and print of addresses. Page 5 5
