Prayers of Lord Brahma 8.5.26-50
These prayers seem to be in śānta rasa, seeing the Lord as transcendental and in charge of the material world Characteristics of the SPOG as transcendental to the material world and how conditioned jivas cannot understand Him Some words in relate to śruti mantras vibhūti yoga of virāṭa-puruṣa Last line of prasīdatāṁ brahma mahā-vibhūtiḥ Last line of all others: prasīdatāṁ naḥ sa mahā-vibhūtiḥ General description of the SPOG 8.5.28 He is the hub of the jiva's samsara cakra Yogis worships Him as supersoul with omkara Only He can subdue maya Devas cannot understand Him what to speak of humans!

Universal Form What is the difference between the form described in Bhagavad Gita Chapter 11 and this one? One common aspect from BG is that His eyes are sun and the moon otherwise Arjuna is just describing everything he is seeing in Him but he is not describing Him as the source of generation of different beings. For instance, in SB, the mouth is a source of Vedas and brahmanas and also mouth is agni to accept sacrificial offerings but BG has the mouth devouring all people. The focus of Virat in BG is that of all powerful time which will devour everything eventually.

Savitā (savitṛ is the root)
22
– In performing His pastimes in this material world, the SPOG is just like the unattached ..r Lord Brahmā wants to see the smiling lotus face of the Lord. T/F?
