3. Storage accounting
The goal is to have possibly one site per NGI testing the storage accounting
12 additional sites have been enabling storage accounting since last OMB

Please, follow up with the ticket if you have not done it yet
Currently 29 sites publishing storage accounting (or soon to publish)
Few more sites to consider it validated
Probably at the next OMB the APEL team will have sufficient data to propose a timeline for a deployment campaign

4. PROC09 to add “FedCloud” tag in GOCDB
All the sites providing cloud resources have been tagged as “FedCloud” in GOCDB
PROC09 will be modified to add these steps for new cloud sites:
Step #3, new sub-step: If the resource centre is providing cloud services, the RC Manager shall open a ticket to EGI Operations to ask to assign the ticket in GOCDB to the RC
FedCloud cannot be self-assigned by sites, being a reserved tag
Step #4: new sup-step: If the resource centre is providing cloud services, the RC Manager shall flag the cloud services with the “FedCloud” tag
This can be done after the FedCloud tag is assigned to the site

5. DNS automatic configuration for VMs in the fedcloud
Several use cases require hostnames in the DNS for the VMs with public IPs
Short term solution adopted: automatic DNS configuration
It should be possible in every site, some sites already enabled this option
Not always immediate to be performed as the DNS could be some time not directly managed by the same staff committed to FedCloud RC administration
Long term solution: thinking about DNS as a Service or EGI-wide dynamic DNS server
Investigating on user needs
Are DNS names needed? is reverse resolution needed? can forward/reverse be different?)
