A walk through the IEP IF you follow the direction and order of the IEP you will first; Identify the student’s needs; then Determine goals and objectives and supplementary aids and services that the student requires to meet the identified needs and to progress in the general education curriculum; and finally you must Determine the least restrictive environment appropriate to work on goals and deliver supplementary aids and services in order to meet the child’s needs and progress in the general education curriculum

Identify students with disabilities Within 30 school days - Ensure the students receive a free appropriate public education Provide them with specially designed instruction, at no cost to the parents, to meet the unique educational needs of the student with a disability and to develop the student’s maximum potential All while protecting the rights of the students and their parents
