2. MOTIVATION Marriage is the most intimate adult relationship for man.
Marriage impacts man greatly in life and eternity.
Christian marriage must fulfil God’s requirements.
God is not the author of confusion, so He wants our affairs to be orderly and praiseworthy.
In the Deeper Life Bible Church, there are milestones to ensure successful execution of marriage.
Central to these milestones is the time and eternal welfare of the marriage couple.

3. MILESTONES
Personal conviction: it is your duty and privilege to choose.
Pastoral counsel: clear from your pastor before you propose.
Prudent communication: propose to the person personally.
Persuaded confirmation: allow the person to decide freely.
Parental consent: clearance from parents from both sides.
Profitable courtship: a time to pray and plan with all purity.
Public consummation: the climax, yet just the beginning!

4. MISCELLANEOUS What is the role of the Marriage Committee (MC)?
They guide the process and help intending couples.
And why do medical test?
To protect intending couples and their offspring later.
What if the person is in DLBC outside Benelux?
The Pastor/MC contacts the Overseer of that country.
And if the person is outside Deeper Life?
The Pastor/MC contacts the Pastor of that church
Suppose the case is already pre-existing before informing the Pastor?
The case will be decided on individual basis.
