1 Catholic Social Justice
As Catholics we have the responsibility to care for the poor, vulnerable, and God’s creation.

2 E.very D.ay E.eating N.aturally
E.D.E.N. Gardens helps take care of the poor and vulnerable by growing fresh produce for them to eat. They also help take care of God’s creation by growing his creations.

3 Sr. Regis Food Cupboard Sr. Regis Food Cupboard is a place where the poor and vulnerable can go to get food. You can get grains, vegetables, fruit, dairy, meats and non-meats, combination foods, fats and oils, and sweet foods. The number of these that you get depends on the size of your family. However, it will only feed you for 3 days and you can only go there once a month. Some of the produce at Sr. Regis Food Cupboard is from E.D.E.N. Gardens.

4 Matthew’s Closet Matthew’s Closet is a small store that sells clothes at very cheap prices. This is great for the poor and vulnerable as they do not have enough money to buy clothes from other stores.

5 St. Peter’s Soup Kitchen
St. Peter’s Soup Kitchen is a wonderful place for the poor and vulnerable. At it you can get a freshly cooked lunch for free, they even have desserts! Even better they have give away tables where you can take food for free. They even have a food pantry which is open 2 days a week and you can go there as much as you want.

6 What can you do to help? As I said before, Catholics like us have the responsibility to care for the poor, vulnerable, and God’s creation. You may be thinking how you can do this. There are many answers to this question: Volunteer at food cupboards or other helpful places Donate money or other things to the church Donate to organizations like Food Link Spread awareness about poverty (like this presentation)
