Why is this book important to me?
This book is important to me because like Henry Covington, I too had a troubled past. I often would seek advice from my mother, and as a woman of God, she would always tell me that I need to turn to God for the answers I seek. This book taught me the importance of faith in troubling times,, and that no matter how bad things seem God is always available. I learned that no matter what people are like, and what they believe in, it is important not to judge them.

What is my response to the book?
I Agree! This book is the perfect example of a basic human moral code. In today’s society many people judge other people based on what they believe is right. They do not know how to accept that another person may know something different. Today many people do not take the opportunity to get to know their fellow men and women.

What is the author saying?
The author is saying that different religions do not have to separate us, but that they can bring us together. He tells the story about two men from different religions that teach him the value of life, faith, and about God. He learns that he should not judge a book by its cover and discovers that by watching someone in his routine life and hearing stories, he gets to know the individual on the inside.

What is my typed book report about
What is my typed book report about? In my book report I discuss how Albom’s initial view of Henry changes as he gets to know him. I discuss how the book teaches that faith is employed similarly, and that regardless of our beliefs, our faith is tied to the same God. I discuss how the book teaches us to believe in something bigger than ourselves.
