Scientific Editing Service
A new resource supported by DOM and the ICTS that works with ICTS members to strengthen and clarify extramural grant applications. Editors work with faculty to: Highlight significance and impact Enhance clarity and conciseness Improve logical flow Identify inconsistencies Respond to and incorporate reviewer feedback Eliminate grammatical and typographical errors Priority given to: Translational investigators with previous engagement with ICTS programs Early stage investigators moving to independent funding Faculty within DOM (must be ICTS members)

Scientific Editing Service Workflow
Author submits a Service Request Form for Consultation or Editing. If accepted, the author receives a Job Number. For consultation, editor contacts author. For editing, author submits grant documents by completing the Document Submission Form. PI submits request for consultation or editing service SES accepts service request PI submits documents for editing SES edits the documents SES and PI discuss the edited grant PI meets with SES for consultation CONSULTATION EDITING PI submits final grant version to the funding agency FAST TRACK EDITING
