Wheelings are reduced because the tractor is not carrying heavy front weights, yet the press acts a good counterbalance for mounted drills
More consistent establishment of seed because the drill is working in a more evenly consolidated seedbed.
Less wear on drill cultivator tines as seedbed has already been cultivated.
