PLAN TO MAKE UP MISSED DAYS
DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER
Atlanta Public Schools is implementing a plan to make up school days missed due to inclement weather.
Based on feedback from senior leadership, principals, students, staff, the community and the results of a survey, APS will add 30 minutes to the end of the school day from January 29 to March 30.
*This means most:
• Elementary school will release at 3:00 p.m.
• High school will release at 4:00 p.m.
• Middle school will release at 4:35 p.m.
*Schools with alternate start times will add 30 minutes to the end of their day.
