THE HISTORY OF CARPET 1949 Russian Archeologist found oldest
carpet “Pazyryk” dated from 4th or 5th century B.C. Carpet (rugs) used in ancient China, Israel, Persian, Greek and Roman cultures. 1271 Marco Polo introduces carpet (rugs) to Europe and during 16th Century carpet (rugs) became fashion in Europe’s castles.

During the 19th Century pile carpets are developed in the USA. In 1925 large USA corporations enter the carpet industry (Dupont, 3M and others).
