Jasmine: Do you guys want to go shopping on Black Friday tonight? Yuki: What? Do you know how many people will be there waiting for the big sale? It is going to be a zoo.” Teresa: Oh, I am pumped. I have been there once, and it was not that bad. There are so many designer brands that will be on sale like Yuki’s favorite: Pandora, or …… Yuki: Wait...wait, Pandora? I am all ears. I need to buy a Pandora gift for my sister. Jasmine: Sounds like you all agree with me, so shall we have food first? I am so hungry I could eat a horse. Yuki & Teresa: let’s go. (In restaurant) Teresa: Look at Yuki. She eats like a bird. Jasmine: She is trying to drop a few pounds. I don’t think she needs to lose weight. Yuki: You guys are not me. You don’t understand me, Jasmine. Jasmine: Okay okay. Let’s finish our meal, so we can go with you to buy a present for your sister.

5 3. I am all ears. . Definition: You have my attention.

6 4. I could eat a horse. Definition: I’m so hungry. I could eat a lot.

7 5.She eats like a bird. Definition: To eat only small amounts of food.

8 6. She is trying to drop a few pounds.
Definition: To lose a few pounds.
