1 Good Mental Health What it takes to have a sound mind that is at peace with God, with itself and with the world. Just like good dental health – brush twice a day – morning and evening. Read. Use (dental floss) mental floss to get between the tight places. Apply who we are in Christ scriptures. Rinse to kill germs and get all foreign matter out. Refuse wrong thoughts and affirm good ones.

2 Know Who Your God Is. Romans 1:  And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, Daniel 11:  …but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits.

3 Know Who You Are In Christ
1 Corinthians 6:  But the one who joins himself to the Lord is one spirit with Him. 1 John 2:  I have written to you, fathers, because you know Him who has been from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, and the word of God abides in you, and you have overcome the evil one.

4 Know And Believe God Loves You
1 John 4:  We have come to know and have believed the love which God has for us. God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. 17  By this, love is perfected with us, so that we may have confidence in the day of judgment; because as He is, so also are we in this world.

5 Challenge Life Controlling Thoughts
1 Kings 18:  Elijah came near to all the people and said, "How long will you hesitate between two opinions? If the LORD is God, follow Him; but if Baal, follow him." But the people did not answer him a word.

6 Question Your Thoughts
Psalm 42:5 5  Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall again praise Him For the help of His presence. Psalm 42:  Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why have you become disturbed within me? Hope in God, for I shall yet praise Him, The help of my countenance and my God.

7 Get The Big Picture Romans 8:  And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. 29  For those whom He foreknew, He also predestined to become conformed to the image of His Son, so that He would be the firstborn among many brethren;

8 Be Selective In Your Focus
John 6:  "There is a lad here who has five barley loaves and two fish, but what are these for so many people?" 10  Jesus said, "Have the people sit down." Now there was much grass in the place. So the men sat down, in number about five thousand.

9 Minimize The Problem Zechariah 4:  Then he said to me, "This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel saying, 'Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,' says the LORD of hosts. 7  'What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain; and he will bring forth the top stone with shouts of "Grace, grace to it!"'"

10 Maximize The Solution 1 Samuel 17:  Then David said to the Philistine, "You come to me with a sword, a spear, and a javelin, but I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have taunted. 46  "This day the LORD will deliver you up into my hands, and I will strike you down and remove your head from you. And I will give the dead bodies of the army of the Philistines this day to the birds of the sky and the wild beasts of the earth, that all the earth may know that there is a God in Israel,

11 Don’t Make Negative Events Personal
Romans 8:  Who will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36  Just as it is written, "FOR YOUR SAKE WE ARE BEING PUT TO DEATH ALL DAY LONG; WE WERE CONSIDERED AS SHEEP TO BE SLAUGHTERED." 37  But in all these things we overwhelmingly conquer through Him who loved us.

12 Don’t Have The Wrong Bias
2 Corinthians 4:  For momentary, light affliction is producing for us an eternal weight of glory far beyond all comparison, 18  while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

13 Live With Your Eyes Open
2 Kings 6:  Then Elisha prayed and said, "O LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see." And the LORD opened the servant's eyes and he saw; and behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. 18  When they came down to him, Elisha prayed to the LORD and said, "Strike this people with blindness, I pray." So He struck them with blindness according to the word of Elisha.
