2. Create a rhetorical précis in where you explain the claim the author is making about his experiences and how such made him a hero. Make sure to annotate and highlight evidence that supports your claim.

9 What is a theme? Theme is the meaning behind a story. In other words it is the story’s message or the lesson we learn via the story.
