4. Day 1 Depart school for Folkestone/Dover crossing to Calais
Local bakery demonstration
Visit a local bakery for a demonstration in French. You will walk away with a croissant and a pain au chocolat each!
Hotel du Moulin aux Draps
Check in to our hotel for an orientation of the centre and meet your animateur who will accompany your group throughout their stay and speak French to the students at all times

5. Day 2
Market Mission
Visit a local market with your animateur. Teams of students will be given money to buy ingredients for a packed lunch and you will also have some general shopping time. Return to your accommodation where your animateur will organise a competition for the best packed lunch
Boulogne-sur-Mer
The largest fishing port in France, it a lively atmosphere including a vibrant market at the heart of the medieval Old Town. There is a fantastic new swimming complex with flumes and a year round ice rink

6. Day 2 Boulogne Town Trail
Your animateur organises this activity with our tailor made Town Trail requiring the students to read, understand and speak French
Nausicaa aquarium
One of France’s most popular attractions, this world class aquarium is a highlight of the region. With good eco credentials, Nausicaa is home to a wide range of exhibits including a stunning living reef, sea-lion pool and tropical lagoon with sharks

7. Day 3 Visit local French school
A Voyager Interaction trip gives your school group the opportunity to meet up with a French school and French students of similar ages and language skills to your own pupils.
Today you will be going to your partner French school for a half/full day depending on arrangements. Typically schools exchange gifts, take part in games, have classroom time, socialise with pen pals, and practise their language skills in a non- formal way. This has proven to be a very effective and fun day for both schools involved!

8. Day 4 Le Touquet-Paris Plage
Once a world famous seaside resort for wealthy and fashionable Parisians, Le Touquet still has year round appeal with beautiful architecture, great shopping and, of course, miles of stunning white sand beach. The covered market on Thursday and Saturday mornings is the biggest and best in the region for delicious local food and also clothes and gifts
