and infallibly defined this Marian Dogma.

What protestants don’t like
They say it can not be found in Scripture, which contradicts by Romans 3:23 “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” They think it means that Mary didn’t need to be saved, they didn’t understand the difference between redemption that preserves from sin and redemption that cleanses from sin. The early Church fathers did not teach this doctrine.

What you need to understand…
Preserved from original sin from he first of existence, Mary was. Mary was never touched by original sin Gen. 3:15 – Protoevangelium “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” Mary was given privilege in view of Christ’s merits.

A closer look at Romans 3:23
Romans 3:23 – “for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God” Misused – when talking about sin, he means personal sin, not original sin. Word we need to clarify: ALL Clarified by: does not mean absolutely all, there are exceptions Jesus Adam and Eve prior to The Fall Children below the age of reason Mary

The protoevangelium? Gen 3:15 – “I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will crush your head, and you will strike his heel.” God put complete enmity, a “wall” of sorts, between her and her offspring. Jesus, the offspring of Mary, was completely untouched by sin, therefore Mary, the mother of Jesus who is God, was never ensnared by sin.

typology What historically helps us defend this title of Mary is how is was foreshadowed in the Old Testament. The Ark of the Covenant in the Old Testament carried the Word of God, the living second person of the Trinity. Mary, the New Ark of the Covenant carried Jesus, the Word of God.
8
Mary’s redemption Mary DID still need to be redeemed
The type of redemption that Mary received was not a cleansing redemption, but a preservation redemption. The preservation redemption was a more perfect redemption…
