2. What does typical housing look like in Germany?
German housing is considered classic. While some Germans opt for more modern housing, “most Germans dream of living in their own house with a beautiful lawn and garden,” according to Schöner Wohnen magazine. This means most Germans continue to want to live in the old-style of Germany that we typically see in movies and such.

Connie: This is a picture of a typical German house. As you can see in our picture this is usually the style of home we see when we watch a movie or video of German. Even in today’s more modern society, “most Germans dream of living in their own house with a beautiful lawn and garden,” according to Schöner Wohnen magazine. What we believe this shows is Germans prefer their old-world style rather than the modern style of housing we see here in America.
