Truth for Your head
3
For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh.
2 Corinthians 10:3 NKJV

The Full Armor of God Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; Ephesians 6:13-17 NKJV

Tighten Your Belt …having girded your waist with truth…
Everyone has a core or foundation of truth(s) to live by. Those truths establish our sense of morality which are our beliefs about what is right behavior and what is wrong behavior. (Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary)

“Brethren, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge.” Romans 10:1-2 NKJV TRUTH IS NOT A MATTER OF OPINION. It is an objective description of reality.

Pilate therefore said to Him, "Are You a king then
Pilate therefore said to Him, "Are You a king then?" Jesus answered, "You say rightly that I am a king. For this cause I was born, and for this cause I have come into the world, that I should bear witness to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice." Pilate said to Him, "What is truth?“ John 18:37-38a NKJV God’s nature and character is the source and determination of all truth. It’s not what He decides. It’s Who He is!

…and take the helmet of salvation…
Straighten Your Hat …and take the helmet of salvation… Salvation is the condition of being restored, delivered, healed, made safe and whole. We experience this when we come into relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ. The helmet (hat) is the emblem of ownership. It clearly identifies who you belong to. It protects us from the onslaught of demonic thoughts that can come to torment our minds.

Mental illness has been rising in our country.
“A study, published in the journal of Psychiatric Services, used data from census interviews to estimate that 3.4% of the U.S. population, or more than 8 million Americans, suffer from serious psychological distress (SPD)—a term used to describe feelings of sadness, worthlessness, loneliness, and restlessness that are hazardous enough to impair physical well-being.” Never has there been a generation that had more toys, more opportunities, more advantages, and access to more information, yet fight so hard battling feelings of worthlessness, sadness, loneliness, and restlessness.

And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:2 NKJV Don't become so well-adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. Instead, fix your attention on God. You'll be changed from the inside out. Readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. Unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, God brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you. Romans 12:2 MSG

Fight for our STUDENTS! Even though I am free of the demands and expectations of everyone, I have voluntarily become a servant to any and all in order to reach a wide range of people: religious, nonreligious, meticulous moralists, loose-living immoralists, the defeated, the demoralized - whoever. I didn't take on their way of life. I kept my bearings in Christ - but I entered their world and tried to experience things from their point of view. I've become just about every sort of servant there is in my attempts to lead those I meet into a God-saved life. I did all this because of the Message. I didn't just want to talk about it; I wanted to be in on it! 1 Corinthians 9:19 – 23 MSG

“Our teens are not Post-Christian. Their parents are. I choose to believe that this generation is pre/on-the-brink of revival Christian. Jesus came at a very strategic time according to Galatians 4:4-7. The world was very dark when Jesus came; but when He did, he picked some young people to shake this place up and I believe history is about to repeat itself.”
