Document their customer account with their preferences. Customer preferences change over time, so confirm their preferences at every interaction

12 How to Set up Google Voice and get started!

13 Create a Google Voice Account
Go to voice.google.com Create your account (it will be a Gmail address) Accept the Terms and Conditions Click Continue to Google Voice Click Get Google Voice Choose the area code or city to populate a list of available numbers and pick the telephone number you want to use. I recommend using or creating a gmail address that you will primarily use for this service only.  Especially, if you are going to involve other staff members in this texting service.  In addition to the texting, an will be sent to the gmail address you've created with the details of each text.   If you end up using the service as much as we do, you will receiving a lot of text s.  Creating a separate account for google voice will prevent you from sorting through all the text s to find other correspondence.
