TEST YOUR FOOD PRODUCT! Milk Put a drop of milk on a polished vertical surface. If it stops or flows slowly, leaving a white trail behind, it is pure milk. Milk mixed with water or other agents will flow down immediately without a trace. Tea In order to check whether the chai powder is pure, put a teaspoon of it in cold water; if the cold water turns brown then your chai is adulterated Turmeric   Take a turmeric root on paper and pour cold water over it. If the root leaves colour, it’s a polished one and is impure.  Coconut oil  Put the coconut oil bottle in refrigerator, the solidified layer is coconut oil, whereas the liquid oil is an adulterant. 6 HEALTHY FOOD CHART Make students into groups and give each group a large piece of tag board and some art supplies Instruct students to divide the tag board into large squares and to write the name of a different vitamin or mineral at the top of each of the squares Then have students draw pictures of fruits or vegetables that are good sources of that vitamin or mineral in the appropriate square Source: Key Learning: To learn about various vitamins and minerals in each food

All children need healthy food for their growth and development. Unhealthy foods like soft drinks, ice creams, cookies, pastries, french fries etc.are high in fat, sugar and salt. “Unhealthy food; a way to diseased life” “Healthy food; a way to happy life” Now let’s play an activity by replacing the unhealthy food products with your most-liked healthy food.
