PRONOUNS WEVE SEEN Remember: Indirect object pronouns replace the indirect object nouns. We use Indirect Object pronouns with the verbs, encantar, gustar and now doler (o-ue) In Spanish the part of the body that hurts is the subject of the sentence and the verb agrees with it. The indirect object pronoun tells who hurts. Me duelen las piernas. Te duele la cabeza. Les duele la cabeza.

TENER EXPRESSIONS In Spanish we use the verb tener to describe a lot of things: PHYSICAL EXPRESSIONS tener frío to be cold tener calor to be hot tener hambre to be hungry tener sed to be thirsty tener sueño to be sleepy tener dolor de to hurt or be sore, etc.

TENER - PSYCHOLOGICAL tener prisa to be in a hurry tener miedo a/de + noun to be afraid of something tener miedo a/de + infinitive to be afraid to do something tener celos to be jealous tener confianza to be confident tener cuidado to be careful tener vergüenza to be ashamed

TENER A FEW EXTRAS tener razón to be right tener éxito to be successful tener la culpa to be guilty tener suerte to be lucky tener lugar to take place tener ganas de to feel like tener en cuenta to take into account

HACE...QUE To tell how long somethig has been going on, we use: Hace + period of time + que + present verb tense Hace tres horas que lloro. If you want to ask howl ong something has been going on we can use: ¿Cuánto tiempo hace que (verb)?

LAST BUT NOT LEAST To say I fell you say, Me caí To say he/she feel, you say Se cayó
