Adobe Connect Changes 24
25
Adobe Connect Changes CDE is looking at a number of different vendors for large capacity webinar seminar rooms over 200 users. We have been testing a wide variety of vendors like Go to Meeting, Adobe Connect and Webex. If CDE changes webinar providers it would impact Town Halls No decision made yet but we want to let Town Hall users know so there is minimal impact CDE may continue with Adobe which would mean no impact. 25

New Behavior Codes: Issue with Timing
A section will be added to No Reportable Incidents tab Districts can provide what timeframe the data counts are reported in For example, if the data counts include data from January through May, you could indicate ‘5 months’ Will only be available for , data will need to be reported completely for Annette 29

SDA: No Reportable Incidents - Update

31
New Behavior Code Update
Updating the current behavior code list to modify Sexual Violence behavior code into two codes for Sexual Violence/Battery and Rape or Attempted Rape. This update aligns the SDA data reporting fields with the required CRDC reporting elements. Lessen the amount of data the district would need to populate for as CDE could pre-populate this data instead. Clarifies the existing vague definition of sexual violence which may be interpreted multiple ways across Colorado and misreported.
32
New Behavior Codes CRDC now requires the following to be reported:
Incidents of rape or attempted rape Incidents of sexual battery (other than rape) - An incident that includes threatened rape, fondling, indecent liberties, child molestation, or sodomy. Both male and female students can be victims of sexual battery. Classification of these incidents should take into consideration the age and developmentally appropriate behavior of the offender(s). CDE behavior codes are now aligned with this CRDC reporting requirement
33
SDA: Behavior Code Update
Updated Behavior Codes impacted (updates are highlighted): 15 Sexual Violence/ Battery (other than Rape) Acts of sexual violence on school grounds, in a school vehicle, or at a school activity or sanctioned event. Sexual Violence means a physical sexual act perpetrated against a person’s will or where a person is incapable of giving consent. Incidents of sexual violence/battery (other than rape) - An incident that includes threatened rape, fondling, indecent liberties, child molestation, or sodomy. Both male and female students can be victims of sexual battery. Classification of these incidents should take into consideration the age and developmentally appropriate behavior of the offender(s). 16 Rape or Attempted Rape Incidents of rape or attempted rape. ELPA 38
39
ELPA Your district may have been sent a letter and last week regarding ELPA. We discovered near at the end of October Count that the ELPA table was excluding Kindergartners with E-CARE funding ( coding) Changes were made to the funding for this year That means for the data to determine allocations You can look up the differences in Cognos The reports are under Student October And then ELPA Student Report – Updated & ELPA Student Report – No ECARE 39
40
ELPA allocations based on data have been altered and your district should/will receive an and letter describing the changes The data has also been updated If you downloaded the report since October Count closed then please go back to Cognos and download the Updated version. 40

Statewide Standard Course Codes
What courses need to be mapped? Please continue to map all courses When should I start converting to SCED version 3.0? As soon as possible. Next year CDE will be limiting courses to version 3.0 codes. Biggest change in the conversion is the prior to secondary codes mapping to the subject areas Please see the SCED Version 2 file at for crosswalk table Review information on the Prior-to-Secondary Crosswalk tab Migration from version 2 to 3 is addition of some new SCED codes 62
63
Statewide Standard Course Codes
When can districts start uploading codes? This is being researched. Request has been made to make it available. There is a delay due to limited resources What version of SCED am I using? Majority of districts are on SCED version 1.0 If you have not done any conversion of the codes you are on version 1.0 63
