7. Extended Learning Wednesdays 2:20 – 3pm
Opportunity to participate in extended learning activities:

All students in years 7 & 8 are expected to take part in at least one of these sessions
The Lordswood Challenge – aim to broaden students’ learning experiences
Students complete ‘challenge’ across 6 areas:
Aim to provide a good foundation for progression to the Duke of Edinburgh award scheme in year 9
Link with the Lordswood Experience which outlines the opportunities and learning which we want all students to experience during their time at Lordswood Girls’ School.

9. Smart card for lunch
The cards must be topped up with either cash or cheque made payable to ‘Lordswood Girls’ School’
If the card gets lost, replacement cards are £3
Students must inform the canteen staff immediately if card is lost
Free school meal cards are the same

Thursday 20th September: Staff training day - School closed to pupils
