3 Autobiography Definition: (noun) an account of someone’s life written by themself Example: His autobiography was published in 1850.

4 Autocrat Definition: (noun) a ruler who has absolute power
Example: The people happily embraced democracy after being at the mercy of a heartless autocrat.

5 Autograph Definition: (noun) a signature from a celebrity
Example: When the celebrity signed his autograph, the hat from the dollar store became much more valuable.

6 Automatic Definition: (adj) working by itself without much human control Example: Do you drive a manual or automatic car?

8 Diameter Definition: (noun) a straight line passing through the center of a circle Example: The diameter of the gunshot hole didn’t match up with the bullet shot.

9 Dichromatic Definition: (adj) showing two colors Example: The team colors are dichromatic- black and gold.

10 Dilemma Definition: (noun) a situation requiring a choice between two undesirable options Example: Unsure if she should turn in her coworker for stealing, the cashier faced a moral dilemma.
