Functions of a Customs Broker
Represents importers at the U.S. Customs & Border Protection and other U.S. agencies. Must pass examinations on import regulations & customs procedures, and background investigation on character & credit references Must be licensed by U.S. CBP Must have power of attorney from importer A licensed broker at each location

Customs clearance with the U.S. CBP & other U.S. Agencies Release of shipments from carrier Transporting goods to final destination Open cargo policy Drawback Customs bond A Single Transaction Bond A Continuous Bond
