Why Use Shipping Containers?
Shipping containers are stacking up in the ports of major cities.
In the U.S. the estimate was nearly 1 million in 2005.
It is cheaper for a shipping company to buy new containers than to transport empty ones back to the origin, creating a stockpile of containers in port areas.
Waste is reduced when the containers are repurposed.

Inexpensive
Recycled containers range from $1,000-$3,000
Not including transforming into a livable space
Waterproof, fireproof, pest-proof – safe in floods, hurricanes, and forest fire areas
