What is Research and Why it's important
What is research? Researching is carefully studying or analyzing a certain topic or subject. In order to research, you must have a specific topic that you want to focus on. Why is research important? Research is important because it helps enhance knowledge and clarify confusion.

When you are researching, you should always take notes; However, you should NEVER plagiarize. Citations are used in order to keep from plagiarizing. There are different types of citations used when doing research. For instance.. MLA In-Text Citations, In-Text Citations: Author- Page style, for print sources with known author, print sources by corporate author, print sources with no known author, citing authors with same last name etc..

Steps To Good Research In order to be a good researcher and to make researching for yourself easier, you have to follow simple steps. Listed below are the most important steps to me. Plan the research project out thoroughly Take notes from Research reading Evaluate Resources(internet, books, television etc.) Avoid plagiarism Use citations properly

Finding Materials In our day, it is much easier for us to do research; GOOGLE. Although Google is reliable and helpful there are much more resources in the world. Like… Books Articles Internet Parents, teachers.. etc. PDFs.

Places to Research Truth be told, we don’t always have to go to the internet for research. There are much better ways and places to make searching easier and more fundamental. Books, DVDs, Documentaries etc. Newspapers—current events, helps with history also. The library — often quiet and peaceful. There are staff to help assist and get you what you need. A coffee shop— quiet and alone space. Easier to focus. Museums, zoos, parks etc.
