Fig. 2 To visualize the diagnostic efficacy of the DD3PCA3-based assay of urine samples in the absence of an arbitrary cutoff value the data were summarized using a Receiver Operating Characteristic curve (ROC). Based on this ROC curve, a cutoff level of 200·10−3 was determined (arrow). Higher cutoff values would not increase the sensitivity of this test but would only result in a loss of specificity.
